Mobile payments with the ease of a swipe

Prior to the introduction of Apple and Google Pay, mobile payments were not as convenient as they are today. Mobuyou developed a technology that enables secure money transfers via Bluetooth.

Working closely with their team of developers, we collaborated in creating the first version of their customer-focused mobile application. Our primary focus was to make transferring money between people and merchants as seamless as possible. Through several iterations and utilizing interactive prototypes in Figma and code, we conducted user testing to gather valuable insights and incorporated them into the next iteration of the app.

Through our collaborative efforts, we successfully delivered a customer-centric mobile application that revolutionizes mobile payments, providing convenience, security, and ease of use for users and merchants alike.

In addition to a smooth user experience, ensuring trust and safety in money transfers to merchants was also a top priority. Trust and safety are paramount in our application's design, particularly when it comes to dealing with merchants whose identities cannot be verified solely by their profile picture.

In order to prioritize trust and safety, we have implemented a merchant payment environment that exclusively appears when making payments at authorized merchants. This environment mirrors the aesthetic of the physical store, effectively bringing the shopping experience right to the customer's phone.
